Weldmar Hospicecare Trust is most grateful to Which Stairlifts Ltd for their most generous donation following their special promotion. As an independent charity, this Trust relies heavily on support such as this in order to continue to offer the special care and support it gives to its patients. It cares for patients from across north, south and west Dorset and whilst it does get a grant from the local NHS this only covers 32% of its running costs it is so very grateful for this wonderful donation.

Weldmar Hospicecare Trust offers care to patients in their own homes with its thirteen community nurse specialist, in its three day hospices in Weymouth, Dorchester and Shaftesbury and as in-patients at Joseph Weld Hospice in Dorchester.

We have donated to Mediation Dorset, a charity that provides a community mediation service across the county of Dorset. Mediation helps people in dispute to try and find a way forward from their present situation so that they can continue living together or close by without the continuing conflict. Mediation Dorset also runs various training courses throughout the year.
